Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad
The Delaware, Lackawanna & Western railroad originally started as The Leggett's Gap Railroad but soon changed its name to Lackawanna and Western Railroad. It merged with The Delaware and Cobb's Gap Railroad and became The Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad. It then merged with the Erie Railroad in 1960 to become the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad. Then in 1976 it was absorbed into Conrail. Parts of it today survive as the Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad and the Canadian Pacific Railway.
